Sagitariat - Prospect Horse For Sale

Sagitariat is a 2004, 16 hh, liver chestnut gelding with a blaze and four white stockings. He is a grandson of Secretariat and Storm Cat out of Angela's Starfish by Crown Ambassador. He raced and won approximately $10,000 before bowing a left front tendon in 2006. He had two months of stall rest after performing C-cell treatment which inovolved injecting pig bladder concentrate into tendon, a proceedure recommended by Iowa State University Veterinary College.

Sagitariat is sound and has really never shown any signs of bowing visiably. He is located on a farm in Kentucky. He is a beautiful animal and the announcers always commented on his looks and his name at the races. He can do some jumping but we will not sell him to a serious jumping career. He should hold up as a low level event horse or as a dressage horse. He is quiet enough that fox hunting is a possiblity as well. He is a big pet and follows his owner around like a big dog. It means a lot to his owner to find him a good home as his owner recently had knee surgery and needs to limit his horses.
